Countervailing duties on electric cars imported from China

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2754 of 29 October 2024 imposes a definitive countervailing duty on new battery electric vehicles for passenger transport originating in China, following an anti-subsidy investigation opened on the Commission's own initiative on 4 October 2023.
