Customs duties on nitrogen fertilisers and agricultural products imported from Russia and Belarus
Regulation (EU) 2025/1227 of 17 June 2025 imposes an additional 50% duty on agricultural products originating in or exported from Russia and Belarus that were not yet subject to extra duties and, on certain nitrogen fertilisers, a 6.5% duty plus €40 to €45 per tonne for 2025-2026, rising gradually to €315 or €430 per tonne by 2028.
