Young farmers' grant and slaughter compensation excluded from the farm social contribution and CSG base
The young farmers' capital installation grant and the difference between compensation paid for the total or partial slaughter of a herd and the book value of the slaughtered animals are excluded from the base of farmers' social contributions (article L. 731-15 of the Rural Code) and of the CSG (article L. 136-4 of the Social Security Code), for grants received from 1 January 2004 and compensation paid from 1 January 2003. In addition, a free transfer of a farm no longer triggers the clawback of the investment and contingency deductions if the successor continues the commitment (financial years from 1 January 2004).
