End of the specific social contribution exemption for public-interest organisations in rural revitalisation zones
Article 19 of the 2008 Social Security Financing Act repeals, from 1 November 2007, the employer contribution exemption created in 2005 by the rural development act for public-interest organisations headquartered in rural revitalisation zones (ZRR), which covered all their employees. Contracts signed before that date keep the exemption until they end. For hires from 1 November 2007, these organisations fall under the standard ZRR exemption (Article L. 322-14 of the Labour Code and Article L. 131-4-3 of the Social Security Code).
