The order of 27 February 2026 sets, from 1 March 2026, the daily hospital charge at €23 (previously €20) and €17 in psychiatric wards (previously €15). It raises the emergency patient flat fee (FPU), payable for an emergency visit not followed by admission, to €23 (from €19.61 set by the order of 17 December 2021) and the reduced contribution to €9.96 (from €8.49); a €13.04 supplement is then billable to health insurance.
