Third consecutive increase since January 2026. Increases of 10 to 80 cents depending on the brand, affecting around 500 products. Some brands, such as Dunhill, reach €14 per pack. Automatic inflation indexation mechanism. Further increases scheduled for 1 June, 1 September and 1 November 2026. 99.5% of excise revenue is allocated to the health branch of Social Security.
