Increase in the recognition allowance and life annuity for harkis and surviving spouses

The 2017 Finance Act raises the recognition allowance paid to former harkis and auxiliary forces members (Law 2005-158) to €3,515 per year from 1 January 2017, and the amount of the option combining allowance and capital from €2,322 to €2,422. The life annuity for surviving spouses and ex-spouses (2016 Finance Act) rises from €3,415 to €3,515 per year. Amounts were raised again on 1 January 2018 (€3,663 and €2,555, 2018 Finance Act, art. 124).
