Fuel allowance for "high-mileage drivers"
Aid paid to low-income workers who use their vehicle heavily for work, in response to the 2026 rise in fuel prices. Flat rate of €50, raised to €100 by the decree of 28 May 2026.

Measure impact
Conditions: reference taxable income of €16,880 or less per tax share, aged 16 or over, earned income in 2024, not liable for IFI (real estate wealth tax), home-to-work journey of more than 15 km or more than 8,000 km per year for work. Applications open from 27 May to 30 September 2026. On 22 September 2026 the Government announced a further payment of €100 for October–December; the text had not been published as of 27 September 2026.
