Increase in the hourly allowance for volunteer firefighters from 1 November 2026
The order of 29 September 2026 sets the basic hourly allowance for volunteer firefighters at €13.21 for officers, €10.63 for non-commissioned officers, €9.42 for corporals and €8.77 for firefighters, up from €13.11, €10.55, €9.35 and €8.71 respectively under the order of 17 November 2025, which it repeals. It takes effect on the first day of the month after publication, i.e. 1 November 2026.
