€130 flat-rate travel allowance for midwifery students' placements
Decree No. 2026-868 of 17 September 2026 creates Article D. 4151-18-1 of the Public Health Code: first-cycle midwifery students doing a placement more than 15 km from their training institution receive a flat-rate travel allowance (for a full-time placement, the location must also be more than 15 km from home). The order of the same day sets the allowance at €130 gross per month. It cannot be combined with other reimbursement of travel costs.
