Sickness daily allowances without waiting period for people exposed to covid-19
The decree of 31 January 2020 allows insured people under an isolation or home-stay measure linked to the coronavirus, who cannot work, to receive sickness daily allowances without minimum work or contribution conditions and without the waiting period, for up to twenty days, for two months. Article 8 of the emergency law of 23 March 2020 then extends first-day payment to all sick leaves starting during the health state of emergency.
