1.6% indexation of the income tax scale (2018 income)
Article 2 of the 2019 Finance Act raises by 1.6% the income tax bracket thresholds applicable to 2018 income (€9,807 raised to €9,964, €27,086 to €27,519, €72,617 to €73,779, €153,783 to €156,244), as well as the family-quotient cap (€1,527 raised to €1,551) and the tax-reduction (décote) parameters. It also adjusts the default withholding-tax rate grid.

Measure impact
According to the preliminary assessment, without indexation income tax revenue on 2018 income would have been about €1.76bn higher.
