IR-PME tax reduction: per-company ceiling raised to €16.5m and 30% rate reserved for local investment funds invested in Corsica and overseas
Article 22 of the 2026 budget act amends the income tax reduction for subscribing to SME capital ("IR-PME" or "Madelin", Article 199 terdecies-0 A of the General Tax Code). The total amount of payments a company may receive rises from €15m to €16.5m. The fund component of paragraph VI, previously devoted to innovation funds (FCPI), now covers local investment funds (FIP) with at least 70% of assets invested in companies operating in Corsica or overseas, at a 30% rate, with a quota to be met by the last day of the 48th month; the former FIP (VII) and Corsica and overseas FIP (VIII) regimes are repealed. The tax reductions can no longer be combined with the exemptions of Articles 150-0 A (III, 1) and 163 quinquies B. For FCPIs invested in young innovative companies, assets may include current account advances up to 15%.
