Temporary IFER increase for pre-2021 solar power plants
Temporary increase of €7.54/kW in the IFER (flat-rate tax on network businesses) rate for solar power plants commissioned before 1 January 2021, raising the IFER from €8.51 to €16.05/kW.

Temporary 3-year increase (2027–2029) in the IFER on solar power plants of 100 kW or more commissioned before 1 January 2021 (excluding self-consumption). Rate increased by €7.54/kW, raising the IFER from €8.51 to €16.05/kW. Initially rejected by the National Assembly (120 votes to 93), then reinstated via Article 49.3 (adoption without a vote). Post-2021 plants keep the reduced rate of €3.542/kW. Revenue allocated to the State general budget, around €50m/year.
