Higher pension supplement for surviving spouses of severely disabled war veterans
The 2015 Finance Act raised the pension supplement paid to surviving spouses of severely disabled war veterans who provided their care: from 400 to 450 index points in 2015, then 500 points in 2016, and from 310 to 360 then 410 points for the second scale. The age-60 condition was removed and the required care period reduced from fifteen to ten years.
