Increase of the zero-interest loan for new low-energy (BBC) homes
Article 100 of the finance act for 2009 provides for an increase of the zero-interest loan, of up to €20,000, for building or buying new homes whose energy performance exceeds regulatory requirements. Decrees No. 2009-1296 and No. 2009-1297 of 27 October 2009 restrict the increase to homes with the "BBC 2005" low-energy building label and set the amount at €15,000 for three occupants or fewer and €20,000 for four or more. The increase applies to advances issued from the first day of the month following publication of the decree.
