Single family allowance increase at age 14

Decrees No. 2008-409 and No. 2008-410 of 28 April 2008 replace the two age-related increases of family allowances, paid at 11 and 16, with a single increase paid from age 14 and set at 16% of the monthly base for family benefits. They apply to children whose eleventh birthday falls after 30 April 2008. In 2026 the age of the increase was raised to 18 for children turning 14 from 1 March 2026.
