Creation of MaPrimeAdapt' to adapt homes to ageing and disability

MaPrimeAdapt', distributed by the National Housing Agency (ANAH) since 1 January 2024, funds works to adapt homes to loss of autonomy (walk-in shower, stairlift, grab bars, etc.) for elderly people or people losing autonomy and people with disabilities, subject to income conditions. Decree No. 2023-1258 of 22 December 2023 extends ANAH's remit to owner-occupiers overseas for these works, clarifies its sanctioning power over agents and removes the requirement of the landlord's express consent for tenants, ahead of the launch of the aid; amounts are set by ANAH's board.
