Micro-enterprises: flat-rate allowances raised to 72% and 52% (micro-BIC) and 37% (micro-BNC)
Articles 21 and 22 of the 2003 Finance Act raise by two points the flat-rate allowances for expenses applied to the turnover or receipts of entrepreneurs under the micro regimes. For micro-BIC (Article 50-0 of the General Tax Code), the allowance rises from 70% to 72% for sales and accommodation and from 50% to 52% for services. For the special regime for non-commercial profits (Article 102 ter), it rises from 35% to 37%. These articles stem from two amendments by Gilles Carrez, general rapporteur, adopted by the National Assembly on 17 October 2002 with the government's support.
