Minimum survivor's pension no longer applies to pensions derived from very small pensions
The 2012 Social Security Financing Act provides that the minimum survivor's pension of the general scheme no longer applies when the underlying personal pension is below the contributory minimum. The rule applies to survivor's pensions starting on or after 1 July 2012.
