Cap on the regional dock dues (octroi de mer régional) raised to 5% in French Guiana
Article 109 of the 2016 amending finance act supplements Article 37 II of Act no. 2004-639 of 2 July 2004 on dock dues: the maximum rate of the regional dock dues remains 2.5% in Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mayotte and Réunion and is raised to 5% in French Guiana. The provision takes effect on 1 January 2017; the actual rate is set by decision of the French Guiana territorial authority.
