Option for corporate income tax opened to sole entrepreneurs
Article 13 of the 2022 Finance Act allows sole entrepreneurs under the new status created by Law No. 2022-172 of 14 February 2022 (Articles L. 526-22 et seq. of the Commercial Code), and not under a micro regime, to elect to be treated as a single-member limited company (EURL or EARL), an irrevocable election that implies corporate income tax (Article 1655 sexies of the General Tax Code). The rules for calculating social contributions on dividends are adapted. These provisions enter into force on the date Article L. 526-22 of the Commercial Code takes effect, i.e. 15 May 2022.
