'Monichon' regime: inheritance and gift tax exemption for woods and forests cut from 75% to 50% and capped at €2m per transfer
Additional article adopted by the National Assembly at first reading. Article 793 of the General Tax Code would be amended: the exemption from inheritance and gift taxes for woods, forests and shares in forestry groups would fall from three quarters to half of the value, and would only apply to the portion not exceeding €2,000,000 per transfer. The amendment sets no application date.
