Operation Barkhane in Mali: automatic revision of military pensions to include double campaign credit
Article 206 of the 2026 Finance Act provides for the automatic revision, from their effective date, of pensions taking effect before 30 June 2024 of service members exposed to combat during Operation Barkhane in Mali between 10 January 2015 and 31 July 2022, and of their survivors, in order to credit the campaign benefits under Article L. 12(c) of the Civil and Military Pensions Code, on the same terms as pensions taking effect after that date (Decree No. 2024-635 of 27 June 2024).
