Family benefits uprating limited to 1% in 2012 and moved to 1 April
The 2012 Social Security Financing Act set the monthly base for family allowances at €399 for 2012 and limited to 1% the uprating of the income ceilings for family benefits. It moved the annual uprating of family benefits from 1 January to 1 April, based on forecast inflation.
