€1,000 scrappage bonus for buying a new vehicle emitting no more than 160 g CO2/km
Article 12 of Decree No. 2009-66 of 19 January 2009 creates a €1,000 aid when the purchase or lease of a new passenger car emitting no more than 160 g CO2/km, or of a new light commercial vehicle, is accompanied by the scrapping of a vehicle over ten years old owned by the buyer. The aid applies to vehicles invoiced between 4 December 2008 (ordered from that date) and 31 December 2009. It cannot be combined with the €300 ecological bonus supplement and is part of the economic recovery plan.
