Employment bonus (prime pour l'emploi): 45% increase for part-time workers
Article 3 of the 2003 Finance Act amends Article 200 sexies of the General Tax Code. For part-time workers, the employment bonus is increased by 45%; between half-time and full-time work, the increase gradually declines to zero for full-time work. The same article indexes the income limits giving entitlement to the bonus and raises the income thresholds and supplements used to calculate it. The National Assembly adopted an amendment by its finance committee removing any minimum part-time duration for the increase. The bonus calculated on 2002 income is paid in 2003.
