Exceptional bonus guaranteeing €900 per month to jobseekers who alternated short contracts and unemployment

Decree No. 2020-1785 of 30 December 2020 creates an exceptional State bonus, paid by Pôle emploi, for jobseekers who worked at least 138 days in 2019, at least 70% of them on fixed-term or temporary agency contracts. It brings their resources to €900 per month: its amount is €900 minus the unemployment benefit received and 60% of the month's earnings, for people whose daily benefit is below €33 or who receive no benefit; it is €335 for recipients of the earned income supplement (RSA). It initially covers the months of November 2020 to February 2021; the bonuses for November and December 2020 are paid from 15 January 2021. Decrees No. 2021-222 of 26 February 2021 and No. 2021-673 of 28 May 2021 extended it to August 2021.
