Exceptional covid-19 bonus for public hospital staff

Decree 2020-568 grants a one-off exceptional bonus to staff of public health establishments, medical students on placement and certain civilian and military staff of armed forces hospitals and the National Institution for Invalids, mobilised between 1 March and 30 April 2020. It amounts to €1,500 in the 40 hardest-hit départements and for armed forces staff, and €500 elsewhere (€1,500 possible for certain units). It is halved for absences of at least 15 days and exempt from tax and contributions (article 11 of the act of 25 April 2020).
