Exceptional €1,350 bonus for thermal renovation of private homes

The decree of 17 September 2013 created a flat bonus of €1,350 per household for owner-occupiers carrying out a package of thermal renovation works in their main residence. It is reserved for households whose reference taxable income does not exceed €25,000 for a single person or €35,000 for two people, plus €7,500 per additional person. The bonus is managed by the Agency for Services and Payment; applications could be filed until 31 December 2015, a date that could be brought forward by decree once the €135 million budget was used up.
