Extension of the SME hiring subsidy to 30 June 2017
Decree 2016-1952 extends by six months the hiring subsidy for small and medium-sized enterprises created by Decree 2016-40 of 25 January 2016: the deadline for the start of eligible contracts moves from 31 December 2016 to 30 June 2017. It also clarifies how company headcount is calculated.

SMEs with fewer than 250 employees hiring between 1 January and 30 June 2017 remain eligible for the hiring subsidy under Decree 2016-40. No hire after 30 June 2017 is eligible.
