Extension of unemployment benefit rights expiring during the lockdown
The ordinance of 25 March 2020 allows an exceptional extension of unemployment benefit payments for job seekers whose rights run out from 12 March 2020 until a date set by order of the employment minister, no later than 31 July 2020. The order of 16 April 2020 sets that date at 31 May 2020, so the extension covers job seekers whose rights ran out between 12 March and 31 May 2020.
