Six cultural tax expenditures extended until 2029 and higher tax on video platform advertising
The article would extend until 2029 the SOFICA (film and audiovisual financing companies) tax reduction, the crafts tax credit, deductions for press companies, the music recording tax credit, the live performance tax credit and the music publishers tax credit. It would also reduce the allowance granted to free video-sharing platforms on the tax on on-demand audiovisual advertising (rate raised from 34% to 67% under Article L. 454-22 of the CIBS, Tax Code on Goods and Services).

Measure impact
No cost in 2027, then €78m in 2028 and €170m per year in 2029-2030; revenue of about €35m per year from the advertising tax.
