Extension of the doubled zero-interest loan for new homes in 2010
Article 90 of the 2010 Finance Act extends the zero-interest loan until 2012 and prolongs the doubling of its amount decided at the end of 2008 for buying a new home. The loan ceiling is raised to €65,100 for offers issued between 15 January 2009 and 30 June 2010, then to €48,750 for those issued between 1 July and 31 December 2010, amounts that may be increased further. The article also adjusts the loan conditions for offers issued from 1 July 2010. The zero-interest loan was replaced by the PTZ+ in 2011.
