Zero-interest loan: maximum income ceiling raised from €51,900 to €64,875
Article 75 of the amending finance act for 2006 raises from €51,900 to €64,875 the maximum total income set by Article 244 quater J of the General Tax Code, within which the income ceilings of the zero-interest loan (an interest-free repayable advance funded by a tax credit granted to banks) are set. This 25% increase offsets the mechanical rise in reference taxable income resulting from the removal of the 20% allowance by the 2006 income tax reform. It applies to loan offers issued from 1 April 2007. The zero-interest loan was replaced by the PTZ+ for offers issued from 1 January 2011.
