Exceptional buy-back of reduced working time days exempt from social contributions
Article 1 of the law of 8 February 2008 on purchasing power allows any employee, whatever the size of the company, to give up, with the employer's agreement, rest days (RTT, fixed-days agreements, time-savings account rights) accrued by 31 December 2007, in return for a pay supplement at least equal to that of the first overtime hour (at least 10% for fixed-days agreements). The sums paid are exempt from all social contributions except CSG and CRDS, for requests made by 31 July 2008 and days paid by 30 September 2008. Days accrued in 2008 and 2009 can also be bought back, under the TEPA law overtime regime.
