Fee paid by road hauliers to check their drivers' licences: €40 annual subscription (excl. VAT)
Road passenger and freight transport employers can check the validity of their drivers' licences for a fee (Highway Code, art. L. 225-5). The order of 25 February 2026 replaces the two rates set by the order of 15 February 2024 (items 1 and 2 of its article 1) with a single annual subscription of €40 excluding VAT, from 1 April 2026.
