€1,000 tax reduction for volunteers mentoring jobseekers or minimum-income recipients who start a business
Creation of article 200 octies of the General Tax Code: a French-resident taxpayer who voluntarily helps a jobseeker or a recipient of the RMI, single-parent allowance or disabled adult allowance to start or take over a business gets a flat €1,000 tax reduction, granted in the year the one-year renewable agreement signed with the entrepreneur and a local employment centre (maison de l'emploi) ends. The mentor must have relevant professional experience and may help at most two people at a time. A Conseil d'État decree sets the details. Article 200 octies was repealed by the 2023 Finance Act.
