Overhaul of the aid for unemployed people creating or taking over a business (ACCRE) and one-year aid for creators receiving the ASS
The Economic Initiative Act rewrites Article L. 351-24 of the Labour Code: ACCRE is open to jobseekers receiving benefits or registered for six of the last eighteen months, recipients of the RMI, ASS or API, certain young people and employees taking over a business in difficulty. State financial aid, which may take the form of a repayable advance, is reserved for certain groups, including jobseekers aged 50 and over, within the available appropriations. Creators receiving the ASS or the widowhood allowance also receive State aid for one year. The State financial aid is exempt from income tax, including for aid paid since 1 January 1998.
