Exceptional increase of the income ceiling for free supplementary health cover (CMU-C) and the ACS aid
The decree of 17 June 2013 raised the annual income ceiling for universal supplementary health cover (CMU-C) to €8,592.96 for a single person from 1 July 2013. On top of the annual inflation uprating, it added an exceptional increase planned by the multi-year anti-poverty plan. The ceiling for the aid towards supplementary health insurance (ACS), set at 130% of the CMU-C ceiling, rose to €11,600.49; the State medical aid ceiling follows the CMU-C ceiling.
