Reimbursement of psychologist support sessions on medical referral (MonPsy)
Article 79 of the 2022 Social Security Financing Act creates health insurance coverage of psychological support sessions provided by selected, contracted psychologists on referral by the patient's doctor (Article L. 162-58 of the Social Security Code), with no extra fees. Decree No. 2022-195 of 17 February 2022 opens the scheme to patients aged 3 and over with mild to moderate disorders, up to eight sessions per year; the order of 8 March 2022 sets the fee at €40 for the assessment interview and €30 per session. The scheme was launched on 5 April 2022.
