Severe hypertension removed from the list of long-term illnesses

The decree of 24 June 2011 removes severe arterial hypertension from the list of long-term illnesses (ALD) giving entitlement to exemption from patient co-payment (Article D. 322-1 of the Social Security Code). Patients already admitted keep the exemption until the end of their entitlement period; a second decree of the same day (no. 2011-727) keeps the former rules for the renewal of their rights.
