Veterans' pension raised from 35 to 37 index points
Article 99 of the 2007 Finance Act amends Article L. 256 of the Military Invalidity Pensions Code: the index of the veterans' pension (retraite du combattant) rises from 35 to 37 points (from 33 to 37 points in the paragraphs still referring to index 33). By derogation from Article 68 of the 2002 amending Finance Act, the increase also applies to veterans' pensions paid to nationals of countries formerly under French sovereignty. The increase takes effect on 1 January 2007; the index was raised again by later finance acts.
