Early withdrawals from the PEA and the business savings account without loss of tax benefit to create or take over a business
The Economic Initiative Act allows money to be withdrawn from an equity savings plan (PEA) before eight years without closing the plan or losing the exemption, provided it finances within three months the creation or takeover of a business run by the holder, their spouse, an ascendant or a descendant; no further payments into the plan are then allowed. Money in a business savings account (livret d'épargne entreprise) can likewise be withdrawn without delay or loss of the interest exemption when it finances, within six months, the creation or takeover of a business.
