Disabled adult allowance and activity bonus uprated by 0.3% on 1 April 2020
By derogation from inflation indexation, the 2020 Finance Act limits to 0.3% the 1 April 2020 uprating of the disabled adult allowance (AAH), the flat-rate amount of the activity bonus and the maximum amount of its main supplement.

Measure impact
Affects AAH and activity bonus recipients: according to the impact assessment cited by the Senate, the increase amounts to €2.70 for the AAH and €2 for the activity bonus, below inflation. Family benefits were subject to a 0.3% uprating under article 81 of the 2020 Social Security Financing Act, not covered here.
