1.8% increase in social benefits on 1 April 2022
Benefits revalued every 1 April rise by 1.8% on 1 April 2022, under the legal rule indexing them on prices (article L. 161-25 of the Social Security Code): active solidarity income (RSA), activity bonus, disabled adult allowance (AAH), family benefits, invalidity pensions and work accident benefits. For invalidity pensions and work accident benefits, the 1.018 coefficient is set by interministerial instruction no. DSS/2A/2C/2022/63 of 4 March 2022.

Measure impact
On 1 April 2022, the RSA for a single person rises to €575.52 a month (+€10.18 compared with €565.34 set in April 2021) and the lump-sum amount of the activity bonus to €563.68 for a single person. Recipients of the AAH, family benefits, invalidity pensions and work accident annuities also get the 1.8% increase, paid from May.
