Revision of 'frozen' pensions of nationals of countries formerly under French sovereignty
Article 68 of the 2002 Amending Finance Act sets new rules for 'frozen' military disability pensions, veterans' pensions and civil and military pensions paid to nationals of former French territories: the point value is adjusted by a purchasing-power-parity coefficient for the country of residence, with a floor of the former amount plus 20%; survivors' pensions and an optional lump-sum compensation are introduced. Decree 2003-1044 of 3 November 2003 implements it.
