Threshold of the partial exemption for long-term leased rural property raised to €100,000 (wealth tax and transfer duties)
Article 39 of the 2009 Finance Act raises from €76,000 to €100,000 the limit up to which rural property under long-term lease and shares in agricultural land groups benefit from the exemption of three quarters of their value for the wealth tax (ISF, Article 885 H of the General Tax Code), and indexes it annually on the first income tax bracket. Article 45 of the 2008 amending finance act applies the same increase and indexation to the threshold of Article 793 bis for inheritance and gift duties, for estates opened and gifts made from 1 January 2009.
