Securities sale threshold raised to €25,000
Article 75 of the 2008 Finance Act raises from €20,000 to €25,000, for the taxation of 2008 income, the annual amount of securities sales below which a tax household's capital gains are not taxed (Article 150-0 A of the General Tax Code). The provision comes from a Senate finance committee amendment. The threshold was abolished in the capital gains reform from 2011.
