Abolition of the solidarity contribution paid by non-farming partners of agricultural companies
Article 20 of the Agricultural Orientation Act repeals Article L. 731-24 of the Rural Code, which required partners of partnerships not covered by the self-employed farmers' scheme, and receiving agricultural professional income, to pay a solidarity contribution to agricultural social protection, calculated as a percentage of that income. Articles L. 136-4 and L. 136-5 of the Social Security Code (CSG on this income) are aligned. According to the Senate economic affairs committee report, the contribution rate was 5.7%.
